Richard Shilling

Richard was trained at the Webber Douglas Academy in London. On graduating he was asked to join the company at Stratford East Theatre Royal to appear in Ken Hill's musical The Wicked World of Bel Ami. He then played Antony in Sondheim's Sweeney Todd with Perth Repertory Company in Scotland; after, he appeared in Kurt Weill's Mahagonny with Morley Opera, and he has also worked with the famous Malaysian dancer and choreographer Unku. Richard is a native Cornishman and has appeared on Radio Cornwall with that county's Man of Letters Geof Aver. His T.V. credits include B.B.C.'s comedy series Up To Something and Something For The Weekend. Richard has just finished the national tour of Phantom and is pleased to be appearing in the West End.
