Tracy Gillman studied Theatre at Warwick University (1980-83). Professional experience includes: Miss Julie in Stringberg's Miss Julie; Michelle in Strippers by Peter Terson and the Beggar woman in Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd at Newcastle Playhouse; Mrs Manningham in Gaslight by Patrick Hamilton; Adriana in Comedy of Errors, Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Bolton Octagon; Rosalind in As You Like It and Tiger Lily in Alice Through The Looking Glass at the Dukes Playhouse, Lancaster; Lady Brute in Vanbrugh's The Provok'd Wife and Marcelle Paillardin in A Little Hotel on the Side by Feydeau, at the Cheltenham Everyman; Elaine in Dig, Volley, Spike by Penny O'Connor at the Old Red Lion and a season at the Unicorn Children's Theatre.
She spent two years with the Cardiff Laboratory Theatre Company. Touring work includes Mina and Trudi in The Dracula and Frankenstein Spectacular with the New Vic and Beattie in In The Midnight Hour with Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band directed by Bob Carlton. Tracy recently appeared as Liz Morden in Timberlake Wertenbaker's Our Country's Good at the Gateway Theatre, Chester. TV and film work includes Check It Out, Byker Grove and The Strangers.
